About me

I studied Clinical and Health Psychology at Utrecht University, where I graduated in 2008. A few years after that, I studied Methodology and Statistics in Psychology at Leiden University, where I graduated in 2012.

After my first graduation, I became a junior researcher at the Center for Personality Disorders of PsyQ in The Hague, which is part of the Parnassia Group.

After a year, I moved to the Science Department at the Parnassia Group Academy, where I started working as an applied statistician. I knew a thing or two about statistics back from my days as a psychology student, but after a while I started to realize that my knowledge could use some expansion. Therefore, I enrolled in the master Methodology and Statistics in Psychology at Leiden University, which I combined with my work at the Parnassia Group Academy.

Today, I still work at the Parnassia Group Academy, where I teach about methodology and statistics and where people can consult me about issues regarding these matters in their research. I also started working at the Methodology and Statistics Unit of the Psychological Institute at Leiden University (where I got my MSc. in methodology and statistics). Here, I am currently working on a PhD thesis about a fancy new technique for the analysis of longitudinal data.
